Interactive multimedia technologies
Endigy develops interactive surface and Augmented Reality applications using a wide range of frameworks, libraries and hardware.
Microsoft Kinect technology
We are proud to be developing solutions based on Microsoft Kinect - a motion sensing input device by Microsoft which enables users to control and interact with applications through a natural user interface using gestures and spoken commands. Initially conceived as an add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, Microsoft Kinect is now used in thousands of non-gaming applications worldwide as an inexpensive and efficient motion tracking hardware.
Microsoft Kinect device can be controlled via various frameworks. Our developers use OpenNI SDK, and, more recently, Microsoft Kinect for Windows SDK from Microsoft for these purposes. The Kinect for Windows SDK is a powerful programming toolkit for application developers which includes drivers, rich APIs for raw sensor streams and human motion tracking, installation documents, and resource materials to developers who build applications with based on Microsoft .NET platform.
Other interactive multimedia hardware
We use a broad range of hardware, including various types of touchscreens, video cameras and digital projectors in order to achieve optimal performance. Our specialists can offer a complete set of hardware based on your needs, but we are also open to customer suggestions.
Other software
Our developers use OpenCV and various other libraries for object and face recognition. We also use augmented reality frameworks for constructing and rendering AR objects.
