Hardware Design
Endigy has rich experience in Hardware design & development. Our specialists participated on design of complex digital boards with modern digital circuits as processors, DSPs, optical interfaces, and phase-locked loops. Designed printed circuit boards were characterized by a high number of number of layers (up to 16). Other experience comes from combined analog/digital boards where analog circuits were complemented with switch-mode power supplies and processors (alternatively FPGAs). Most of the boards were designed for AdvancedTCA platform with PMC/AMC architecture, but CompactPCI platform was also used.
We have already implemented a wide variety of FPGA-based solutions, including:
- optical framer E2 (telecommunications field)
- Microblase (Xilinx) processor application
- syncronization unit (telecommunications field)
- PCI bridge (PCI bus to processor bus)
- packet unit device (merging Ethernet packets into single stream)
- 2x 1 Gb Mux for radio relay application
- high capacity scalable TDMA switch with Serial RapidIO interface
- 8192 channels VoIP processor
- Multiport 10/100/1000-Ethernet 10GbE L3 switch, compliant with AdvancedTCA (Marvell Prestera-DX, Freescale PowerQUICC II ) standard
- PCI-X 256-channel HDLC controller (Intel IOP, Infineon Munich)
It should be mentioned, that even though our company is not a hardware manufacturer, we can deliver all-inclusive solutions due to the collaboration with our partners and renowned hardware vendors.
